Entering the fitness industry in 2018 as a personal trainer (ACE), Dominic began his career as an instructor at International Sports Academy (ISA) and a fitness trainer at the SAFRA EnergyOne gyms. Over the years, he has developed a freelance personal training business (DANG Personal Training) assisting numerous clientele in fulfilling their health and fitness-related goals while training future personal trainers at ISA, both academically and practically.

In 2021, Dominic became a certified strength and conditioning specialist (NSCA) and expanded his professional repertoire into the athletic field. In 2024, Dominic graduated with a BSc (Hons.) First Class degree in Sport and Exercise Science, complementing his first degree of a BA (Hons.) Philosophy. With both practical experience and formal education, he also teaches at International Management and Sports College (IMSC) as a lecturer.

Dominic sees great value in education and staying up-to-date with the latest health and fitness trends and research. His ability to simplify complicated concepts and his charismatic personality makes him well-admired among both his students and clients.

Farij is a performance coach at Lion City Sailor Academy, offering extensive expertise in high-performance training. With a strong background as a Strength & Conditioning (S&C) coach for the Singapore Rugby Men’s 7s team, he has played a key role in developing athletes for international tournaments around the world.

His career spans multiple sectors within the fitness industry, from managing a personal training studio to delivering 1-on-1 sessions and leading outdoor boot camps. This diverse experience has allowed him to craft a holistic coaching approach, blending practical expertise with a deep understanding of sport science.

Farij holds both a Degree and Master’s in Sport Science, providing him with advanced knowledge to help both general fitness enthusiasts and elite athletes achieve their full potential. Additionally, with a Degree in Nutrition, he takes a comprehensive, results-driven approach that addresses the full spectrum of fitness and performance needs.

For the past 7 years, Farij has also lectured Sport Science modules at the tertiary and degree levels, further strengthening his foundation in teaching and applying the latest evidence-based practices in fitness and performance training.

Hong Yiying is a dedicated Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS-NSCA), Master Functional Trainer (FTI, fitness personal trainer (ACE), and a registered Muay Thai coach (NROC). She is the strength and conditioning coach of Spartans Boxing Club Balestier, and founder of Everfit Singapore.

Yiying’s unique approach of mindset-driven coaching has transformed her clients from inside out and made lasting impacts. Driven by her passion to inspire and motivate people of all ages and abilities, Yiying established Everfit Singapore with the mission of empowering everyday people to get healthier without pills through lifestyle intervention. This is made possible through health talks, fitness personal training, and a variety of sports coaching programs to individuals and corporates.

Yiying has generously shared her expertise with charitable organizations, including the Bone Marrow Donation Program, Singapore Leg Club, Beach Warrior, and the Overseas China Education Foundation, as well as corporates and local communities. Yiying and her company continue to work with multiple organizations to raise the awareness of improving life quality through fitness and wellness.

Yiying is currently a Global Coordinator of the National Strength and Conditioning Association Singapore Chapter, with the mission to unite and develop Singapore’s strength and conditioning professionals.

Commonly known as Jacq to friends, Jacq has always been an avid athlete, competitor and sport adrenaline junkie. Since school, Jacq has been Sports Captain of the track and field team, once part of the Singapore 4x100m team A-division record holder and a 100m sprint A-Division National team qualifier. That is the beginning of a lifetime of being active – as an adventure racer, half marathoner, triathlete, rock climber and a surfer. After 16 years on a global trotting corporate career in Hong Kong, Dubai, Switzerland and Thailand, she finally returned home to Singapore in 2016 for good.

 

Since then, Jacq has been certified as the American Council of Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer, Functional Training Institute (FTI) Kettlebell Level 1 and 2, Metafit (AUS) High Intensity Interval (HIIT) and is associate teacher at the International Sports Academy (ISA) in Singapore since 2018. In 2024, Jacq has also now registered under NREP ( National Registry of Exercise Professionals) and completed the CoachSG Theory and Foundational Sports Science courses.  She is in the process of being NROC (National Registry of Coaches) certified for a sport climbing coach.

 

In 2020, Jacquelynne finally took the leap to leave the corporate world and become a full time Fitness entrepreneur. She is known for her weekend getaways under her business, Rock.Surf.Chill Inc that organises quick trips to neighbouring countries to learn outdoor rock climbing and surfing. In 2025, Jacq will host Bali Retreats for Busy executives and Moms &kids getaways.

 

After being ACE certified in 2017, Jacq has been part of ISA teaching crew that continues to promote the certification and education of enthusiastic fitness and personal trainers. Today she is a Strength Coach for fitness warriors like Spartans, Marathon runners and Senior fitness trainers as well as conduct “Not-for-fainthearted” outdoor HIIT Bootcamp sessions for outdoor warriors and is better known as Coach “BlackJacq”.

 

Jacq is also a freelance Strength coach and does small group sessions and personal training. She is NREP HIIT certified and conducts outdoor strength bootcamps and beach kettlebell workouts.  She caters to the over 40s busy executives who just want to be functional fit and has also started Kids Climbing Coach services in Singapore.

 

Fun fact: Jacq indulges in Pork Knuckle as her comfort food and loves her Home Bar – her philosophy is just work it off after!

Kwan (Quek Kwan Zheng) is the director and principal rehab therapist of Qinetic Wellness.

With over 14 years of experience in the sports and health industry, he brings both his theoretical knowledge and clinical experience to his courses and workshops.

His goal with ISA, is to train and develop future rehab exercise and therapy specialists who will have a impact on the rehab industry.

Raymond is a dedicated Exercise Physiologist with a proven track record in optimizing human performance. With a Master’s degree in Sports Science, and his involvement in ISA and NSCA Global Chapter Singapore, he has honed his expertise in designing and implementing effective educational programs, conducting rigorous research, and fostering collaborative partnerships.

Raymond’s academic journey began at Nanyang Technological University, where they earned a BSc in Sport Science and Management, followed by an MSc specializing in the physiological responses to resistance exercise. Beyond his academic credentials, Raymond is also a certified professional in various fields, including Strength and Conditioning, Exercise Physiology, Personal Training, and Sports Massage. His passion lie in helping people achieve their full potential through evidence-based exercise and training strategies.

An individual with an immense passion for advocating and educating others in nutrition and fitness, Wan Jin spends her days working on product development and consultation at a Wellness company and her evenings and weekends as an educator for Personal Training and Nutrition.

Wan Jin obtained her Bachelor of Food and Nutrition Sciences from Deakin University, with a major in Exercise Science. She is recognised as a Nutritionist by the Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association, and is also a qualified personal trainer certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE). To ensure that she is well-equipped to educate and facilitate adult learning, she also has a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) from the Institute for Adult Learning Singapore.

As a freelance Nutrition Consultant and Personal Trainer, Wan Jin aims to educate individuals about healthy living through good nutrition and appropriate exercise programs. She has worked with individuals of different fitness levels and backgrounds, helping them to achieve their goals through individualised tailored programmes.

“A good diet is one that is suitable and sustainable” is her motto, and she hopes to spread that message to as many people as possible.

Wan Jin also has the experience in conducting various programs for the Health Promotion Board, reaching audiences from pre-school children to post-natal mothers, corporate clients to grandparents.
